Interpreter
The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) National's immediate phone interpreting service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year by calling 131 450.
The service is available to any individual or organisation in Australia, enabling non-English speakers to independently access services and information over the phone. Call TIS National and ask for an interpreter in your language. Ask the interpreter to call the Ombudsman on (08) 9220 7555.

We are an exempt agency under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 and all material subject to our investigations is “exempt matter”.
We will only provide you with documents that you originally provided to us. You do not need to make an FOI request for those documents.
If you are from a government agency or local government that has received an FOI request for your records that include correspondence with our office during an investigation, those records are exempt from release.
