If you are aware that an investigation into a reportable allegation is being undertaken by the Western Australia Police Force (WA Police), or that court proceedings are in place, we draw your attention to section 19ZG of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1971 and encourage your organisation to consult with WA Police to determine whether a reportable conduct investigation may compromise the police investigation, and whether the reportable conduct investigation should be suspended.

When you have submitted a notification to Ombudsman WA you will receive an email acknowledging that you have reported a reportable conduct allegation to the Ombudsman.

To request information from WA Police Force, complete the WA Police Reportable Conduct Information Request Form and submit it to reportable.conduct@police.wa.gov.au. Please include a copy of the acknowledgement email from the Ombudsman confirming that the allegations have been reported.
